Djirra is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation providing practical support to Aboriginal people who are currently experiencing family violence, or have in the past.
Djirra provides services across Victoria with offices in metropolitan and regional areas. Their services include telephone and face-to-face legal and non-legal support.
Their offices are open Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm. Their phone contact hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-10pm.
Outside of business hours if you want to have a yarn, contact Yarning SafeNStrong on 1800 959 563. It is a 24/7 free and confidential phone crisis line for Aboriginal people and families who need to have a yarn with someone about their wellbeing.
